Job Description
Qualifications:
- MCh / Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in State/Region.
- Minimum of 3-5 years post-fellowship experience in pediatric cardiac surgery preferred.
- Proven expertise in performing a wide range of pediatric cardiac procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex open-heart surgeries including repairs of congenital heart defects valve repairs/replacements and heart transplants.
- Diagnose pediatric cardiac conditions in collaboration with cardiologists and other specialists.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Participate in preoperative evaluations surgical planning and postoperative care.
- Provide consultations and education to patients& families regarding treatment optionssurgical risks and recovery expectations.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists intensivists and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and surgical best practices.
- Participate in ongoing research clinical trials and continuous education to advance pediatric cardiac surgery techniques.
- Contribute to training and mentoring of junior surgeons residents and medicalstudents.
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records and documentation.
