Job Description
We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Casual Events Chefs to join our Catering Brigade at Melbourne Museums and The Fresh Collective Melbourne. As a key member of our team you will play a crucial role in crafting highquality dishes for various events and ensuring a seamless culinary experience for our clients.
Working closely with our Executive Chef Executive Sous Chef and Celebrity Chefs youll thrive in a fastpaced environment committed to excellence ensuring the quality and consistency of our culinary offerings.
About the Role
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to deliver high quality menus
- Oversee the accurate and consistent preparation and presentation of all dishes at functions and events
- Enjoy a flexible schedule
- Have the opportunity to grow within the company and advance your career within our restaurant group.
About You
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent work experience
- 2 year experience in a 5star hotel largescale restaurant or catering company
- Passionate about producing quality dishes
- Driven to achieve the highest standards in an efficient manner
- Strong time management and planning skills
- Able to effectively manage and motivate a team of chefs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow standard recipes
- Valid working rights in Australia
