About the Role Software Test Automation Engineer Responsibilities Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. Perform performance and load testing using LoadRunner JMeter or Gatling. Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test requirements and strategies. Conduct functional regression smoke integration and performance testing. Design and maintain test automation frameworks for web and API testing. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing using Jenkins GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD. Perform API testing using Postman REST Assured or SoapUI. Identify track and report bugs using JIRA Bugzilla or similar tools. Optimize test for scalability reliability and performance. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in testing. Required Skills Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. 3 years of experience in test automation and performance testing. Strong handson experience with Selenium WebDriver Java/Python and TestNG/JUnit. Experience with LoadRunner JMeter or other performance testing tools. Solid understanding of SDLC STLC and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with SQL NoSQL databases and API automation. Experience with version control tools (Git GitHub GitLab). Knowledge of Docker Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP). Desirable Skills Experience with other automation tools and frameworks. Certification in software testing or related field. Education Qualification Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
