Job Description

Required:
  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalency.
  • Must possess certification of one of the following: IAHCSMM or CBSPD.
  • Knowledge of surgical instruments sterile processing and OR logistics and scheduling.
  • 2 Years experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
  • 2 Years experience handling and processing a variety of Endoscopes
Preferred:
  • 2 Years of leadership experience.
Team Leaders in the Endoscopy section of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) are responsible for a variety of functions. This position is responsible for prioritizing employee production inventory and coordinating activities associated with specific services utilizing endoscopes and other sensitive instruments. The Team Leader is responsible for maintaining workflows in the following areas:
  • Prep and Pack
  • Decontamination
  • Sterilization
