Job Description
A wellestablished client of ours is currently looking for the expertise of an experienced and ambitious Construction supervisor to join their team of professionals.
Key Requirements:
- Drivers License (Code 8
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 3 Years of Experience
- Experience in water/sewer pipework
- Experience in Pipe Bursting
Responsibilities:
- Resource & Material Management
- Monitor Cost and Production
- Make effective decisions and solve problems that may arise
- Conduct monthly measurements and data for progress statements
- Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.
- Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.
- Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting orienting and training employees.
- Assesses safety and finance goals.
- Manages subcontractors by locating evaluating and selecting contractors.
- Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
- Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.
- Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.
- Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.
- Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with and enforcing codes.
- Maintains a safe secure and healthy work environment by following guidelines standards and procedures.
