You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Tax Team is responsible for performing the Direct Tax Compliances involving preparation analysis computation filing & payment of Direct Taxes (Corporate Tax) across the Asia Pac entities. The team performs tax compliances in the form of preparation of advance tax TDS payments TDS returns tax provisioning tax audits filing of SFT other statutory tax forms transfer pricing/ international transaction compliances etc. The team takes care of filing of corporate tax returns of India along with other Asia Pac entities including Singapore Hong Kong China Malaysia Australia. Team handles and manages tax litigations across various tax authorities. Team is involved in advising on internal tax queries analyzing the impact of change in tax rates legislations and tax law updates. The team also supports the local finance team to support statutory/ other audits. In addition the team also works on process improvements data quality and bringing in automation.This position in India shall be reporting to the Senior Manager.

What will your essential responsibilities include
Preparation and filing of corporate tax returns of India along with Asia Pacific (APAC) entities.
Having discussions and coordination with auditors for timely completion and filing of Tax Audit Form 3CEB 56F and other tax compliance forms.
Ensure Transfer Pricing (TP) Documentation (CbCR Master File and Local File) and other documentation as per the BEPS action plan are maintained/ filed within the statutory timelines.
Regular followup/ coordination with tax consultants in respect of ongoing assessments and litigation and ensure litigations are smoothly handled through timely preparation and filing of responses before the Tax Department and have complete control on litigations across entities/ years.
Monthly computation and payment of withholding taxes and filing of withholding tax returns of India and other APAC entities.
Advising on any adhoc inhouse tax query through extensive research.
Preparation and payment of quarterly advance tax selfassessment tax liability etc.
Preparation of tax provisioning and ability to explain and convince the tax positions to the statutory auditors.
Responsibility for tax accounting and ensuring all tax liabilities/ payments are timely along with maintaining reconciliations of tax accounts/ ledgers/ balances.
Involvement with the global tax team to assist in group tax reporting.
Attitude towards process improvement exploring automation performance development and crafting an environment of continuous improvement.

Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
Chartered Accountant with relevant years of experience.
Extensive working and indepth knowledge of Indian corporate tax and transfer pricing.
Ability and desire to research any adhoc tax query/advice.
Knowledge of SAP/Oracle financial packages/ ERPs.
Proficiency in MS tools like Excel word etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to work resiliently in a fastpaced multinational environment under highpressure situations and within tight deadlines.
Organized methodical able to deal effectively with multiple teams/ partners/ stakeholders priorities and can handle multitasking.
