Position Overview
The Vice President of Client Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational of the solution client management team. The solution client management team serves as single product experts and partner with Strategic Client Executives on Zelis enterprise and strategic clients to deliver exception client outcomes and results. Solution Client Managers are responsible for serving as product experts with a hyper focus on optimizing client solutions that leads to greater adoption utilization and outcomes. This role will focus on driving customer satisfaction retention and growth by developing and implementing effective client management strategies fostering strong client relationships and ensuring the delivery of an exceptional client experience.At Zelis we Get Stuff Done. Position Overview
The Vice President of Client Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational of the solution client management team. What Youll Do
Develop and execute the overall strategy for the SCM client management team focused on alignment with our vertical leaders strategic client executives and sales to achieve business objectives.
Operational discipline ensuring the teams follow and improve upon current and future SOPs scorecards and roles and responsibilities. A significant focus of this role is designing and building strong crossfunctional partnerships and repeatable processes that drive client value and streamline internal processes. This team works closely with our BU Services and Product teams to serve as a client facing voice for any requests or problem solving and follows repeatable processes to deliver value at scale.
Align client management and product strategies with the companys vision mission and goals.
Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing clients.
Lead mentor and develop a highperforming and disciplined client management team.
Set clear performance expectations provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and customercentric culture within the team.
Monitor client performance identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Own revenue target for the team and report on progress and opportunities regularly to executives.
Collaborate with vertical leaders strategic client executives and crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. This role will require matrixed management and tight collaboration with peers.
Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities. Become an expert and evangelist of Zelis products and solutions. Create a team that can go deep as technical and solution advisors.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of client management initiatives.
Partner with Product Leadership and Client Experience Voice of the Customer to provide and prioritize key product themes feedback and recommendations to incorporate into product roadmap to improve over client experience and outcomes
Champion a customerfirst approach across the organization ensuring that client needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
Address and resolve escalated client issues and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
What Youll Bring to Zelis
Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
12 years of experience in client management customer success sales services or a related field with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully managing and growing key clients.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Experience building and scaling processes in enterprise organizations.
Analytical thinker who makes sense of data and delivers actionable strategies based on trends and insights.
Operational leader with proven ability to design and execute simple processes out of the complex with a laser focus on outcomeoriented client value delivery.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective client management Strategies and outcome driven engagements.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisionmaking.
Experience working with healthcare payors is preferred.
