This is achieved by enabling adolescents to complete secondary education and skilling young people for employment. The foundation operates the Childhood to Livelihood programme working with individuals aged 12 to 24. Over the past two decades Magic Bus has impacted over 1 million young people across 24 states and 75 districts in India.
Job Overview
We are seeking a midlevel Placement Partnership Officer to join our team at the Magic Bus India Foundation. The role is based in Hyderabad and is a fulltime position. The Placement Partnership Officer will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate job placements for our program participants. The ideal candidate will have a background in relationship management and be skilled in networking and communication.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in relationship management particularly in the nonprofit sector or educational institutions.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.
- Strong networking abilities to develop and maintain professional relationships with employers and community partners.
- Project management skills to plan execute and complete projects within set deadlines and objectives.
- Capability to collaborate with different teams and adapt to various working styles and environments.
- Effective negotiation skills to secure job placements and partnerships beneficial to the program participants.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using various communication tools and techniques to manage partnerships and projectrelated tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to facilitate job placements for program participants.
- Conduct outreach activities to identify potential partners and stakeholders interested in supporting the foundations mission.
- Coordinate and manage placementrelated projects from initiation to completion ensuring all objectives are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between program goals and partnership activities.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of partnerships to maximize benefits for both the foundation and its participants.
- Track and report on the progress and outcomes of partnership activities and job placements.
- Provide postplacement support to program participants to ensure their successful integration into their new roles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and opportunities to continuously improve the placement process and outcomes.
