StaffJob Description
Coaches and mentors student athletes in their strength and conditioning training. Assists with program planning meeting with coaches and/or strength staff setting up facilities and other duties related to preparation for work with student athletes. Must have the ability to work remotely at the request of the university in times of inclement weather or other special circumstances.
Responsibilities:
60 Coaching/mentoring student athletes in their strength and conditioning training in the weight room on the field or court or in varied locations.
40 Administrative duties planning meeting with coaches and/or strength staff setting up facilities or other duties related to preparation for work with student athletes; supervision of graduate assistants interns and student assistants
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in kinesiology or a related field.
Six years of successful collegiate strength and conditioning coaching experience and/or extensive professional or Olympic athletic experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Registrations Certifications and Licenses:
A strength and conditioning related certification required.

The target base annual salary range is commensurate with experience and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
