Pay Rate:$70.66/hr.
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (excluding State holidays)
Opportunity Overview:
Are you a highly skilled Business Analyst ready to take on a vital role within a dynamic fastpaced environment Were seeking a Business Analyst 3 with deep experience in software development and applications to lead impactful initiatives facilitate business transformation and ensure successful solution delivery for a highprofile state agency.
As a trusted liaison between technical and nontechnical stakeholders youll leverage your analytical expertise communication skills and project leadership to define business solutions gather and translate requirements and drive process improvements across crossfunctional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business objectives and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
- Create functional requirements use cases software specs data mappings and systems documentation.
- Develop test plans and support UAT efforts using tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with business users and technical teams.
- Lead process documentation and business process reengineering efforts using Visio flowcharts and diagrams.
- Analyze data trends develop KPIs/metrics and collaborate with developers on reports via Tableau and Cognos.
- Guide junior analysts and mentor team members through project lifecycles.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders including presenting ideas and solutions to senior leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8 yearsof experience in each of the following:
- Business analysis methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Analyzing and evaluating IT applications and complex systems
- Project planning estimation and tracking
- MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Project Visio)
- Building reports KPIs and data summaries
- Communicating with crossfunctional teams and executives
- Creating project work plans and managing small to midsize projects
- Working knowledge of Texas Vital Statistics laws policies and regulations
- Leadership conflict resolution and stakeholder alignment
