Brief details of the position

Working within the accounts department you will report directly to the Financial Manager. This position is based in Bellville with a possibility of moving to Cape Town CBD. You shall assist with a range of accounting matters and financial control issues.

Purpose of the position

To assist in ensuring highquality and timely management information stewardship of company assets regular accounting records updates and good financial relationships with customers suppliers staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience

• Proven cash control purchase ledger stock control and reconciliation experience with a thorough understanding of the procedures involved in this type of role.
• Proficiency in Pastel/Business Central.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.

Duties

• Check and process cashups and control accounts.
• Process daily banking and perform reconciliations.
• Manage creditors full function.
• Stock controls and reconciliation.
• Maintain fixed asset register and supporting documents.
• Balance control accounts daily.
• Handle petty cash.
• Balance loan accounts.
• Any other ad hoc duties.
