Job Description
- Install new equipment such as appliances fixtures cabinets mirrorsetc.
- Paint repair roofs install or repair windows doors floors woodwork plaster drywall and maintain other parts of building structures.
- Carpentry work such as fitting doors freeing windows building shelves and other construction tasks related to a Unit Remodel.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment continues to run smoothly building systems operate efficiently and/or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Occasionally perform seasonal work such as snow removal and yard care. Night and weekend requirements for snow removal may be necessary.
- Exterior maintenance of the building such as gutter soffit and siding repair.
- Prepare accurate records regarding preventive maintenance detailed work orders apartment rehab annual inspections and inventory.
- Participate in annual unit inspections with Managers.
- Participate in Rotating OnCall schedule after appropriate orientation to Portfolio.
- Valid drivers license personal vehicle insurance & reliable transportation.
- Must provide own hand tools.
- 3 or more years experience in all phases of building maintenance including but not limited to appliance repair HVAC plumbing electrical carpentry and preventative maintenance.
- OR
- A Certificate or State License specializing in one field of skilled trade electrical plumbing HVAC CAMT etc.
- Exemplary time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with Honesty & Integrity.
- Willingness to learn and assist above and beyond as part of the team.
- Ability to push pull and lift 50 pounds frequently 100150 pounds or more occasionally.
- Ability to demonstrate a full range of motion.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground.
- Ability to walk long distances and climb stairs repeatedly.
- Withstand external weather conditions.
