As a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer you will play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights helping teams feel confident in their decision making. You will work collaboratively across teams to design and develop BI tools that bring clarity to complex data and empower teams to work smarter. Your expertise in SQL ETL processes and BI platforms will create efficiency accuracy and transparency in reporting ensuring teams have the data they need to succeed.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Create intuitive userfriendly BI solutions that help teams interpret and trust the data.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure data is accessible accurate and meaningful.
- Design and maintain data models that support evolving business needs.
- Partner with Data Engineers to ensure ETL processes are seamless and efficient.
- Develop clear visually engaging reports and dashboards using Power BI Tableau or similar tools.
- Listen to stakeholders needs and provide tools that make data easy to explore and understand.
- Uncover trends patterns and key insights to help teams feel confident in decisionmaking.
- Develop predictive models that highlight opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Ensure data is handled with care and integrity supporting compliance and governance.
- Work with IT and data teams to establish best practices that create trust in data usage.
- Build relationships across departments to understand challenges and provide solutions.
- Offer training and guidance to help teams use BI tools effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in BI Engineering Data Analytics or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL relational databases and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Strong knowledge of BI platforms such as Power BI Tableau or Qlik Sense.
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for business users.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
Familiarity with cloudbased data platforms (Snowflake AWS Azure).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $81000 $113000 USD.
Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
