The Opportunity
The High Power Laboratory is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 as an independent testing station and is a member of SATS Certification and STL (Shortcircuit Testing Liaison) and we are one of the few unique High Power Laboratories in the world. The Laboratory is a large test facility for high voltage products with a variety of nonroutine electrical and mechanical test procedures. Its main purpose is to perform high quality testing both in the development of new products and in certification of the products for a global market.
Being a part of and responsible of the support function Technology & Maintenance at the HighPower Laboratory is an important and interesting challenge as well as a key role to keep the Laboratory organization and operation at the forefront.
The team that consists of approx. 12 persons handles both hardware and software for projects systems updates investments maintenance and engineer support to five different Laboratories and a workshop within the organization.

How youll make an impact
Drive a positive team culture within the Laboratory covering both technology maintenance facility and Infrastructure.
Understand and support the need from the Laboratory units then drive the actions that need to be taken.
As a member of the management team you will report the status of projects and key targets.
Support quality audits within the various functions in the Laboratory.
Contribute to strategic planning and the development of the Laboratory.
Responsible of the overall performance for this department.
Your background
Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field. Comparable acquired competence may also be considered.
Proven managerial experience for at least 5 years.
Experience of successfully driving team culture and implementing continuous improvement initiatives preferably within an engineering environment.
Familiarity with production engineering RnD and or Design is a plus.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a drive for identifying trends and proposing innovative solutions.
Excellent communication presentation and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
