The Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Recruiter to join its team.

The ideal person for this position will have demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service in addition to building and managing relationships with both customers and candidates on a continual basis. This person must be driven to excel as well as recruit efficiently and effectively while expanding MGHs candidate pool.
The Recruiter must know how to participate in and enjoy a fast paced environment. The person will have to multitask with ease and enthusiasm. This is a very positive group with large goals. Must be articulate and have the drive to go the extra mile to service our customers and candidates.
The MGH Recruitment Team supports the hiring initiatives for both MGH and MGPO departments. Recruiters are assigned to specific departments and provide exceptional customer service and full lifecycle recruiting including managing the posting of positions presentation selection offer negotiation and closing of candidates and administrative components.
Other responsibilities include:
Working closely with senior leadership and hiring managers regarding open positions; ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements for such positions; posting and advertising positions.
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with MGH managers vendors community organizations and other team members to create a partnership that yields success and credibility.
Visiting all assigned departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and using that understanding to help candidates fully understand opportunities.
Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
Leveraging online recruiting resources and internal candidate databases to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
Creating and fostering relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
Reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Phone screen and/or facetoface interview qualified candidates using behavioralbased interviewing methodologies.
Providing complete accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the MGH the hiring department and the position; and preparing candidates for interviews.
Managing and coordinating all communication with candidates.
Performing detailed reference and background checks on final candidates.
Extending offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of MGH compensation policy; explaining MGH benefits retirement plans and policies to candidates; and registering new hires for orientation and applicable trainings.
Using effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form.
Working cooperatively with all members of the recruitment team and the broader Human Resource teams.
Staying informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in stateoftheArt recruiting practices; participating in the development of ongoing creative and costeffective sourcing strategies
Qualifications
Bachelors degree. Minimum of 3 years recruitment experience and ability to use uptodate recruitment techniques. Use of applicant tracking systems preferred. Excellent organizational and highly effective interpersonal skills required. Ability to multitask is a must and ability to think out of the box is a plus!
