Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Digital Technology team is seeking a highenergy individual to join our Engineering Applications team where you will have the opportunity to design and build the next generation of Digital Engineering applications pushing the boundaries on knowledge management modernization and other key initiatives in support of the Engineering function. You will be part of a highly collaborative team responsible for delivery of software to our engineering customers and partners.
Key responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with internal partners to plan and execute global PLM requirements in support of world class system availability and performance.
Partner with engineering PLM discipline team to provide full product lifecycle management.
Participate on the PLM Interdisciplinary Program Management Team to provide technical expertise and maintain project continuity and communicate deployment plans.
Own and author the P&W PLM roadmap including technologies and industry best practices.
Consulting with Engineering customers to advise on key PLM product and configuration challenges.
Manage performance of PLM application management support contract performance.
Advise on enterprise PLM integration solutions to enable endtoend data connectivity across the organization.
Lead deployment of application performance monitoring tools to improve the performance and reliability of PLM systems.
Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree (required) and 9 years experience; or Masters Degree (preferred) and 7 years experience. Preferred fields include Computer Science Engineering MIS or related business discipline(s).
Qualifications:
Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills can develop clear concise and logically written business communications as well as deliver recommendations effectively to demanding audiences.
Proven track record communicating to senior business leaders regarding PLM.
Demonstrated effectiveness working in a complex serviceintensive deadlinedriven environment.
Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups.
Strong personal leadership organizational relationshipbuilding and negotiation skills. Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills.
Ability to inspire confidence in senior management and to be recognized as the authority by many stakeholders.
Selfstarter with selfconfidence enthusiasm and strong customer service orientation. Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to provide strategic technical PLM leadership and lead by influence the creation of longterm strategy (e.g. more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment
Highly skilled at analyzing business process and seeing opportunities for digital solutions
Possess functional & Teamcenter Technical knowledge in areas such as: TC Customisation TC configuration management BOM management NX/CATIA integration Active Workspace Configuration and customisation SAP or Enterprise Integration manufacturing process planning Easy plan manufacturing resource library process simulation Reporting & Analytics Teamcenter API protocols.
Experience in supplier management Project Management SDLC Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Good communication skills work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and accountability
Willingness to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience Highly selfdirected and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results
Strong analytical skills demonstrated organizational and leadership skills examples of effective teamwork a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates
Youre comfortable working with minimal daily supervision and to balance numerous priorities Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fastpaced environment of rapidly changing demands
