Job Description
Location: Johannesburg South Africa
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our engineering department ensuring the successful delivery of projects and the overall growth and development of the team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers providing guidance support and mentorship
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve department goals and objectives
Ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and timelines
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project
Manage department resources including budget staffing and equipment
Provide technical expertise and support to team members as needed
Develop and maintain relationships with clients suppliers and other stakeholders
Requirements:
National Higher Diploma T4/S4 (Mechanical/Electromechanical)
BSc Engineering (Mechanical/ Electromechanical)
015 years in an engineering manufacturing and design environment with workshop exposure
35 years of senior team management
CAD drawing experience
Materials processing/handling experience advantageous
Ability to motivate and inspire team members
