Adobe Design seeks a Staff Designer to join our Agency Team. As part of a dedicated group of strategic designers youll tackle complex business challenges that shape Adobes future direction across our product ecosystem. Youll work directly with executive stakeholders to identify key opportunities drive alignment across business units and help define priorities that will influence the creative industrys and Adobes evolution over the next 15 years and beyond.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who excels at both highlevel vision and practical with exceptional stakeholder management abilities and design craft. Our team operates in a fastpaced consultative environment where were empowered to shape strategy and drive change through compelling storytelling and evidencebased design thinking. Youll create strategic frameworks research insights vision presentations and actionable deliverables that build alignment and momentum around transformative initiatives.
Lead strategic design initiatives that address complex business challenges across Adobes ecosystem balancing longterm vision with actionable next steps
Drive stakeholder alignment through compelling storytelling strategic frameworks and evidencebased recommendations
Conduct and synthesize research to identify market opportunities industry trends and user needs that inform strategic direction
Facilitate executive workshops and strategic planning sessions to align stakeholders on priorities and vision
Create polished deliverables including strategic frameworks journey maps service blueprints and vision presentations that drive decisionmaking at the executive level
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across business units to understand their needs and influence strategic direction
Translate complex business problems into clear design opportunities and design opportunities into actionable solutions
Lead change management initiatives through effective communication and relationship building
Serve as a strategic design consultant to Adobe leadership promoting design thinking methodologies and usercentered approaches
Serve as an ambassador of Adobe Design promoting our principles and methods when working with other groups at Adobe.
Musthaves:
Proven experience and/or training in design or a related field with an emphasis on user experience interaction design or visual design.
Ability to proficiently facilitate ideation workshops cultivate the creative thinking process build compelling presentation decks or videos and present inspiring concept pitches.
Strong interpersonal written and oral communication and storytelling skills.
Excellent design craft and the ability to blend that with strong intuition for addressing business goals.
A highly collaborative nature and proven ability to iterate through early concepts to bring a vision to life.
Mastery of Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and other design tools such as Keynote Sketch or Figma.
Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team
A real passion for collaborating across many subject areas!
Nicetohaves:
Prior experience working within a creative agency or enterprise creative team using lean startup style methodologies.
Prior experience crafting design strategy for platform experiences and design systems
Deep knowledge around and passion for accessible and inclusive design
Understanding of Adobes product ecosystem and the creative industry landscape

At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
