How will I help

As a Portfolio Owner Governance & Operations you will be responsible for leading the Governance and Operations team within the Business Lending Line of Business (LoB). You will work closely with your team Managing Director Business Lending LoB and various Head ofs and their teams to ensure adherence and governance to regulatory obligations supporting compliance and integrity of the business lending product and value chains.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Govern the product as per policy and standards
  • Manage and govern product collateral changes including but not limited to terms and conditions BFA and security collateral
  • Set the Business Lending Value Chain governance standards including the minimum deliverables and approvals for changes
  • Govern changes to the Business Lending Value Chains including process maps/ models SOPs obligations risks controls and tools
  • Coordinate and be the secretariat of various product process (value chains) governance forums
  • Responsible for process improvement and control optimisation across the value chains and customer journeys in business lending
  • Product and process reporting
  • Influence and support enterprise product and Value Chain leads to simplify and improve the framework policy templates and standards
  • Manage the Value Chain service desk and embed governance framework.
  • Coordination of governance and adherence to regulatory obligations
  • Governance & Risk Reporting (e.g. issues & incidents)
  • Product performance monitoring

  • Experience with Product and Process Governance and Management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving along with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent planning collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong judgement and decisionmaking skills
  • Deep understanding of financial services and project management
