Job Description
Job Title: TGT Mathematics Teacher (Grades 69
Job Type: FullTime
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic TGT Mathematics Teacher to teach students in grades 6 to 9. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts be able to engage students effectively and create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver wellstructured mathematics lessons for grades 69 in alignment with the curriculum.
- Teach core mathematical concepts including algebra geometry and arithmetic in a clear and engaging manner.
- Use various teaching strategies and tools to accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess students progress through regular tests assignments and quizzes providing feedback to help them improve.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events staff meetings and professional development programs.
- Communicate with parents about student performance and areas of improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a related field; B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 23 years of experience teaching mathematics at the middle school level.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
