Senior System Engineer Cloud Migration Specialist (English Speaking) (M/F/D)
Were looking for a System Engineer with solid experience in cloud migration infrastructure and hybrid environments. Youll lead the charge in planning and executing migrations optimizing systems and keeping everything running smoothly across Azure and VMware.

Tasks
- Assess onpremises environments using Azure Migrate and develop tailored migration strategies (rehosting replatforming refactoring).
- Plan and execute migrations from onpremises infrastructure to cloud environments (Azure VMware hybrid).
- Deploy and manage Azure networking components such as VNets NSGs Application Gateways and enterprisescale landing zones maintaining security and performance standards.
- Manage and troubleshoot Azure VMs networks and cloud infrastructure.
- Use tools like Azure Migrate and VMware HCX to support seamless migrations.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients ensuring cloud environments are secure scalable and efficient.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems implementing best practices for performance and reliability.
- Stay up to date on Azure advancements recommending process improvements and leveraging new tools to enhance cloud migration efforts.
- Maintain detailed system documentation and continuously improve infrastructure processes.
- Bring strong technical analytical and supervisory skills with a collaborative mindset.
Requirements
3 years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
- Handson experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies.
- Strong knowledge of VMware HyperV Windows Server Unix Active Directory Horizon/Citrix and networking.
- Experience with Azure networking (VNets NSGs Application Gateways) Azure Virtual Desktop and enterprisescale landing zones.
- Familiarity with cloud migration tools such as Azure Migrate or VMware HCX.
- Strong troubleshooting documentation and communication skills.
- Good team player with a proactive mindset.
- English fluency (German is a plus).
Nice to Have:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. AZ104 AZ305.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell Bash).
