The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join Metcalfe Farms Haulage as an apprentice based at the companys head office in Leyburn North Yorkshire. We are looking for a motivated enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Customer Account Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop a career in Transport.This role is a fulltime position. The first 56 weeks of your employment will be completing your apprenticeship. This is a workplace based role where you will complete the apprenticeship online and with all sessions with the training provider completed virtually.Key aspects of the role include:What Youll Do: Assist customers with inquiries via phone and email Provide product/service information and resolve issues efficiently Develop communication and problemsolving skills through handson experience Work closely with different teams to ensure customer satisfaction Gain valuable knowledge through structured training and mentorshipWhat Were Looking For: Enthusiastic and eager to learn Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team and under pressure Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office email etc. Minimum qualifications: GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent No prior experience neededjust a willingness to grow and a passion for transport and logistics!What We Offer: Paid apprenticeship with a nationally recognized qualification in Customer Service Handson training and mentorship Career progression opportunities within the company Friendly and supportive work environment Onsite ParkingThe Apprenticeship is a Transport Operator level 2. This will give the successful candidate a great understanding of a transport business. Following completion of the apprenticeship there are additional courses that are available offering a more specific customer service experience.The learning outcomes of the Traffic Operator Level 2 are:Awareness of IndustryHealth and Safety Customer Service Vehicle types and maintenance.Planning routes and drops ensuring efficiency Delivery tracking processing returns and debriefing driversTechnology Used in The Transport Industry Driver Compliance Communication and escalation processes One to one coaching sessionsRevision sessions / assignment supportShadowing of transport managerTrainer Observations and practical coaching
