Job Description

Thank you for considering employment in the Lunenburg Public Schools.The mission of The Lunenburg Public Schools is to provide all students with the skills confidence and passion for lifelong learning so that they may find their own paths to successful careers active citizenship and rewarding lives.There is an open part time custodial position at the Lunenburg Public Schools.TITLE: CustodianREPORTS TO: Senior CustodianDUTIES & REPSONSIBILITIES:Lunenburg Public Schools seeks a motivated individual to serve as parttime evening custodian.This individual would be responsible for cleaning classrooms restrooms and hallways between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM Monday to Friday. Parttime evening custodian also would be responsible for maintaining the school physical plant in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it is available at all times. Work includes sweeping vacuuming mopping finishing floors cleaning and disinfecting restroom fixtures and floors cleaning walls desks and windows as required as well as emptying trash receptacles/disposing of trash and securing windows and doors. The parttime evening custodians will assist with snow removal as needed. EXPERIENCEPrevious experience plus the ability/skill to do minor repairs preferred but not required. OTHERSome flexibility with the starting time may be possible.SALARY: Salary and benefits per Lunenburg Custodial contract.
