Job description for AutoCAD Draughtsman
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed drawings schematics and layouts for various projects using AutoCAD.
Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD ProE and other 3D modeling software as required.
Conversant with designing software like autocad3D ModelingRevitProE solid wordsinventor and etc.
Modify existing drawings based on feedback and project specifications.
Develop models and drawings based on initial designs and specifications provided by engineers architects and project managers.
Conduct site visits to gather information and verify measurements as needed for projects.
3d modelling and detailing
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain organized project files and documentation to support project management.
Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports as needed.
Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD features and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma or degree in Drafting Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 58 years of experience as a Draftsman or CAD Technician with a strong portfolio of technical drawings and 3D models.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD ProE and other 3D modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles technical drawing standards and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with 3D Rendering and simulation software is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain and present technical information effectively.
