We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Transport Consultant to join our clients consulting practice. This role will play a critical role in delivering transportfocused projects integrating data analysis financial and business modeling and strategic consulting to support clients in public and private sector infrastructure.
You will be responsible for conducting indepth research delivering highquality financial and economic analyses preparing presentations and engaging with clients on strategic mobility and transport initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and produce highquality research and analysis on transportrelated projects focusing on financial and economic considerations.
- Perform literature reviews data synthesis and financial analysis to support transport infrastructure investment and policy recommendations.
- Develop business models financial models and scenario analyses to inform decisionmaking in transport and urban mobility projects.
- Draft reports presentations and other client documentation to communicate key findings and strategic insights.
- Lead components of project deliverables working closely with clients to design implement and evaluate transport strategies.
- Participate in and contribute to client meetings offering datadriven insights to influence policy and investment decisions.
- Work primarily on transportrelated projects while maintaining adaptability to work across other sectors as required.
- Support project coordination logistics and administration to ensure seamless of consulting engagements.
- Contribute to proposal development and business development initiatives within the transport sector.
Minimum Requirements
MustHaves:
- A Masters degree in finance commerce economics engineering or the sciences.
- 35 years of experience in finance economics management consulting or strategy consulting with exposure to financial and/or economic considerations.
- Strong numerical analytical and problemsolving skills with expertise in data analysis financial modeling and economic evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently structure complex information conduct research and deliver actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary and fastpaced environments.
- Demonstrated leadership or entrepreneurial aptitude with a track record of delivering impactful solutions.
NicetoHaves:
- Understanding of business planning financial analysis and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in multiple South African languages is an advantage.
- Experience working with economic modeling impact assessment or transport policy development.
- Knowledge of publicprivate partnerships (PPPs) in transport or exposure to urban mobility planning.
