Job Description
Join our Water Resources team at Olsson a leading engineering firm actively seeking a dedicated Associate Engineer in our Plano TX office. This position assists with generating ideas and creating designs that provide purposeful highquality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs.

Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
- Perform various tasks immersing you in practical experience and exposure to diverse engineering facets methods and programs.
- Execute precise technical engineering calculations.
- Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for floodplain modeling and mapping.
- Engage in design and management tasks for stormwater projects including channel stabilization/restoration storm drain systems culverts and water quality features.
- Coordinate with supervisors and project managers to achieve project objectives.
- Innovate and introduce new ideas to projects showcasing your creativity and initiative.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Plano TX office location.
Qualifications :

- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well with a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
- Bachelors degree in engineering.
- 14 years of experience.
- Engineer Intern (EI) certificate or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with HECRAS modeling software.
- Experience with Civil3D software.
- Experience with modeling software is a plus.
- Aspiration to advance and evolve in the field of water resources engineering.
