Job Description
- Ensure Timely Flow of Materials to / for Analytical Department
- Perform daily Balance Verifications
- Prepare samples in a fast paced environment for high throughput analysis
- Perform basic analysis and document data in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to fulfill external and/or internal requests
- Operate equipment for the following analytical techniques: melting point (MP) UV absorption Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) polarimetry Karl Fischer titration halide titration and TGA
- Assist with packaging sensitive compounds for Finished Goods under appropriate conditions
- Perform basic quality control inspections during the packaging of critical compounds through visual inspection and/or NMR analysis under supervision
- Assisting with other duties (e.g. sample preparation KIT preparation sending out samples) as required
Qualifications :
- College diploma in Chemical Technologies or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication and time management.
- Strong project management skills
- High attention to detail
- Selfstarter; task oriented with ability to run multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good at handling stress and exceptional organizational skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and modifications to workflow and expectations
- Tactile and good with detailed work
- Ability to work on a team and achieve results in a team environment
- Knowledge and experience in organic chemistry and techniques employed in the science of spectroscopy and separation would be an asset
