Were looking for a motivated qualitydriven Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. In this role you will ensure a clean and sanitary environment properly manage the tools and equipment used in daytoday tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
This is a seasonal and oncall position available seven days a week. The standard schedule is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and may be adjusted based on hoteling operations. Hourly wage: $18.80.
You will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Thoroughly clean all assigned areas including waste removal washing dusting polishing vacuuming and sweeping following established protocols.
- Experience in hotel room cleaning and bed setup is required.
- Follow cleaning procedures accurately and consistently.
- Operate vacuum cleaners and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain all cleaning tools and equipment in good safe and working condition.
- Organize and prioritize work assignments efficiently.
- Understand and follow instructions; work well as part of a team.
- Identify and report workplace hazards promptly.
- Adapt to changes in work assignments as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in training and inservice education programs.
- Attend scheduled meetings punctually and prepared.
- Be available for shortnotice shift coverage overtime and oncall needs.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks across multiple campus buildings as assigned.
- Complete work orders to professional standards and within designated response times.
- Comply with all regulations under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Represent the department with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- A great attitude!
- At least one 2 year experience in cleaning.
- Able to communicate with supervisor Client and general public
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- WHIMIS certified (Training can be supplied)
- A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
