Position: IT Intern Information Technology Department

Internship Overview:
Are you passionate about technology and interested in learning how IT systems keep things
running smoothly Were looking for an energetic and selfmotivated IT Intern to join our team!
This is a handson internship where youll get to work with our experienced IT staff on real
world projects solve tech problems and develop your skills for a future career in IT.
What Youll Do:
As an IT Intern youll support the IT team in maintaining and troubleshooting technology
systems. Youll have the opportunity to learn about areas like hardware software cybersecurity
and data management.
Heres what you can expect:
Assist with Tech Support: Provide technical support by troubleshooting and resolving
issues for students and staff including assisting and shadowing technicians onsite.
Work with IT Systems: Support the team in maintaining computers software and other
tech systems.
Organize and Manage Resources: Help keep track of IT equipment and resources.
Learn from Experts: Work alongside our experienced Service Desk staff to gain hands
on knowledge in various areas of IT like programming cybersecurity and data
management.
Skills &Qualifications:
Were looking for interns who are excited to learn and contribute to our team. Heres what youll

Strong Communication Skills: Youll need to explain tech issues clearly to people who
may not be familiar with IT.
ProblemSolving Mindset: Be curious and eager to figure out how things work and how
to fix them.

and collaborate.
Attention to Detail: We need someone who is organized and takes pride in their work.
Physical Requirements:
This is an officebased position that may require you to:
Stand or walk for short periods of time.
Lift or carry items up to 30 pounds.
Use a computer for extended periods.
