Job Description
The Operations/Production Technician will be responsible for Planning of Production resources & ensure schedules are met as per internal / external customer requirement. The holder of the position will also work with Order Engineering Quality and other internal functions to continuously identify design process and efficiency improvements. The goal is to ensure work is completed to required timescales output and quality targets.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
Align resources with production plans on a daily basis
Provide effective and constructive feedback to production staff and suggest corrective actions if needed to ensure production plans are fulfilled
Check production plans and fulfillment takes care of maintenance and repair of machines
Monitor the KPIs & ensure departmental KPIs are met weekly monthly & Yearly.
Identify the improvements & implement to enhance safety 5S Quality & Productivity.
Asses the Risk involved in process handled & ensure the mitigation plans are in place.
Timely review & updating of all the relevant documents.
Attend the IMS audits & ensure the timely closure of observation if any.
Identify new technologies & process to enhance the manufacturing process to reach best in industries.
Qualification & Skills:
Minimum 3 year of relevant & 5 years of experience in a technical manufacturing production or assembly environment.
Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineer.
Good knowledge on ASMEBPE requirements in manufacturing.
Good knowledge in mechanical assembly techniques
Proven mechanical faultfinding skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Good knowledge of quality cost efficiency and safety
