Job Description:

The Oregon Department of Justices Salem Trial Division is seeking to hire two 2 dedicated legal professionals as Legal Assistants (Legal Secretaries) to support our Special Litigation Unit for the Salem or Portland Legal office. Training will be in person at our Salem legal office. After training is complete this position offers a hybrid schedule which requires a minimum of 1 day in office and up to 4 days remote work after training is complete. Legal Assistants are responsible for supporting the section attorneys with the calendaring efiling preparing and proofreading of documents for court. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your administrative professional development in this busy litigation environment.

If selected you will work closely with division attorneys and other legal professionals to ensure that critical filing and communication deadlines are met in a highvolume fastpaced environment.

Required Experience
