What you will do:
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and retention of the Liquids Pipelines (LP) general ledger.
Coordinate the establishment and maintenance of accounting and general ledger processes and procedures to ensure appropriate governance structures are in place over the financial results of the organization.
Maintain the general ledger for Liquids Pipeline legal entities by reviewing monthly recurring entries account analysis and account reconciliations.
Review and analyze the monthly general ledger for reasonableness accuracy of information and compliance with Company policies and GAAP.
Drive Day 1 to Day 6month end activities ensuring completion of specific accountabilities.
Collaborate closely with subledger groups and field staff to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
Ensure timely preparation of Regulatory reports (FERC)
Responsible for mentoring and developing the LP general ledger team.
SarbanesOxley (SOX 404 internal control documentation and coordination with external auditors.
Who you are:
PostSecondary education in Accounting and Professional Accounting Designation.
Minimum 6 or more years of postdesignation experience in an accounting environment.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
