What You Will Achieve
Serve as a key resource and potentially lead lower levels within your area of expertise providing direction and training to team members.
Manage personal time and professional development taking accountability for results prioritizing workflow and potentially leading and allocating tasks to others.
Contribute to project and department tasks routinely providing direction and training and may be designated as a lead worker or Subject Matter Expert.
Proactively identify and resolve potential problems considering wider implications beyond the immediate issue.
Complete assignments independently selecting the most appropriate methods and ensure team assignments are completed.
Review nonstandard work for sound technical judgment and may be responsible for reviewing others work.
Adhere to Pfizer standards guidelines and values influencing teams and providing input on developing and modifying departmental standards and guidelines.
Provide cleaning validations support for multiple processing areas within API ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and released after each campaign.
Possess strong knowledge of API equipment/technologies operations SOPs GMP and focus on continuous improvement ensuring cleaning meets EHS and GMP requirements.
Interact with various stakeholders including API and unit leadership shop floor operators subject matter experts Quality EHS colleagues and external regulatory agencies maintaining and preparing API Laboratory Equipment and supplies for production use.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED
4 years of experience
Certification in the assigned area if applicable
Demonstrated experience in API and completion of the operator training program
Acquired API operations/IPL experience
Functional/Technical Knowledge of the discipline
Effective written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Applications
Experience with System Application and Products (SAP)
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Fermentation experience
Strong foundation in theoretical knowledge and practical skills
Strong business awareness of crossorganizational impact on project delivery
Ability to train and mentor others
Strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation
Physical/Mental Requirements
Physical Demands: Considerable standing bending reaching twisting kneeling walking climbing of stairs and ladders lifting and moving of containers up to 25 kg.
Work Environment: Considerable outside environment. Frequent exposure to airborne particles; hot/cold conditions. Must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is loud. Use of hearing hand head feet and eye protection is required.
NonStandard Work Schedule Travel or Environmental Requirements
Weekend & holiday work may be required.
