Job Description
Migrant Education Program Secondary Teacher postings
Applications are being accepted for the 2025 morning Secondary Migrant Education Program. The days required for staff are June 30 to July 31. The hours are Monday Thursday 7:301:00.
(The Migrant program will take field trips on Thursdays).
Summer School/Migrant Program grades 612 at Washington Academy and High School for secondary students.
The following certified positions are needed:
Migrant Program English/Language Arts Teacher Grades 6 12 (WAHS)
Migrant Program Math Teacher Grades 6 12 (WAHS)
ESOL Teacher (services both elementary and secondary students)
Special Education Teacher (services both elementary and secondary students)
Applicants will receive a link to a Google Form that will be used for applicants to indicate their preferred position. Preference will be given to those individuals that have had previous successful experience in the program. The positions may be changed or altered based upon enrollment and staff availability.
Due to the limited number of positions for this years program the following criteria will be used to screen applicants for interviews.
- Internal applicants with prior experience
- Applicants who worked in the Summer 2024 program
- Applicants who are certificated/experienced in specific assignments applying for.
- Applicants who are available for the entire program 6/30/25 7/31/25
- Applicants who are fluent in Spanish
