The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Experienced Electrical System Workplace Coach to support the New Orleans Louisiana site.

This position is with the Boeing Exploration Launch Systems supporting production of the NASA SLS Core Stage and are based at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans Louisiana.

Boeing and NASA are building the worlds largest rocket for human exploration of deep space. The Space Launch System (SLS) provides a critical heavylift capability powering people and cargo beyond our moon and into deep space to enable diverse exploration science and security missions.

Boeing is the prime contractor for the design development test and production of the massive core stage and development of the avionics.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers.

Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

Analyzes and interprets data.

Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.

Works with organizations to develop strategies plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.

Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum 5 years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

Minimum 5 years of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements

Minimum 3 years of experience with electrical systems integration/installs and testing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Leadership and/or mentorship experience

Experience working in a group setting and training others
