B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with around 15 18 years experience in QC / QA functional area in a mechanical equipment manufacturing industry. Experience in QC function of pumps / rotary equipment / diesel engines will be preferred.
Experience in following areas are required:
Experience of handling customers e.g. NTPC / EIL / NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation) / BHEL / APGENCO / TANGEDCO / Other State Government Water Departments for inprocess inspection and final performance test witness
- Formulation of Quality Assurance Plan for arranging approval by reputed customers as stated above and implementation of the same
- Formulation of internal QAPs for manufacturing processes and final performance tests of pumps and implementation of the same within the organization to ensure product quality
- Experience of implementation of Statistical Quality Control techniques Exposure to QC procedures of Fire Fighting System of offshore platform with Engine Driven Fire Pumps Electrical / Pneumatic / Hydraulic Engine Starting System and experience of String Test of pump & engine will be an added advantage.
