EY Assurance Manager AOA
As part of our EYAssurance Team the principal objectives will be to ensure that consistent andhighquality service is provided by the team by taking endtoend project ownership andaccomplishing the define goals.
The opportunity
Were looking for incumbents who will be responsible for ensuring high quality consistent andefficient service is provided by the GDS AOA team to the account teams of different subareas. Heor She will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of account management such asresource management Metrics & Reporting performance management and elements of riskmanagement. He or she will continue to manage coach and act as a mentor to junior staff playinga key role in the development of your team. You will build strong relationships with onshorecolleagues and clients identifying areas where GDS can improve quality of and increase the scopeof work.
Your key responsibilities
- Monitor operational measures (e.g. utilization KPIs Minimum commitment versus Actualhours transitioned)
- Develop strong relationship with onshore stakeholders (SAILs off shoring partners & Areasleadership) and manage their expectations on service delivery
- Promote internal communication between teams and assist them in driving change andreinforcing quality through developing & following proper protocols
- Promote training and development of knowledge for the entire AOA GDS teams throughidentifying training needs along with AMs TLs with the help of knowledge champions
- Develop succession planning employee development and manage attrition in AOA GDS team.
- Assist in the recruitment process of AOA resources (Associate Sr. Associate Team Lead &Assistant Manager)
- Ensure coverage of rewards and recognition for the high performing associates
- Set directions mentor and guide team leaders & assistant managers to manage their ownperformance and of their teams and create pipeline of potential talent
- Contribute to the culture of the broader EY GDS Gurgaon team
- Liaise with support functions like HR L&D Finance etc to adapt departmental plans andpriorities to address business and operational challenges
- Work with senior managers at GDS and Off shoring Program manager to look for morebusiness growth opportunities & devise strategy to grow the scope of GDS AOA team.
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent written oral presentation and facilitation skills including bi/multilingual skills for OCAs.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously through effective prioritization organization flexibility and selfdiscipline.
- Must have demonstrated project management experience.
- Proactive organized and selfsufficient with ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Analyze complex or unusual problems and can deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions.
- Ability to quickly and easily create/ gather/ analyse data from a variety of sources.
- A robust and resilient disposition able to encourage discipline in team behaviours
To qualify for the role you must have
- 9 years experience (and demonstrated competence depth and breadth) of operationaland project management experience
- 6 years experience of people management coaching and leveraging work through others.
Ideally youll also have
- Interest in business and commerciality.
