Manage general ledger entries journal postings and monthly closing activities.
Prepare monthly management accounts financial statements and reconciliation reports.
Handle intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Manage online banking platforms and ensure proper authorization of transactions.
Monitor daily cash flow and maintain cash flow forecasts.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and statutory contributions.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (SST income tax etc. and corporate filings.
Work with tax agents and auditors on annual submissions and statutory audits.
Maintain proper financial documentation and support internal process audits.
Develop and maintain internal SOPs for finance operations.
Implement improvements in accounting systems and workflows to increase efficiency.
Support operational teams on budgeting and expense tracking.
Degree or diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field.
35 years of handson experience in accounting preferably in an SME or multientity setup.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and Malaysian financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero QuickBooks SQL Accounting).
Strong attention to detail reliability and integrity in handling financial data.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with investment firm or fund accounting.
Experience in handling payments across multiple bank platforms.
Exposure to tax and audit processes in Malaysia.
