Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint an Electronic Technician within the Technical and Engineering department to ensure the of electrical and electronic installations and maintenance. The successful incumbent will report to the Foreman: Electrical.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsible for the of project driven electrical and electronic installations and maintenance according to SABS regulations
  • Assess the maintenance and electrical requirements of jobs assigned and allocated
  • Execute and attend to electrical maintenance tasks equipment and breakdowns
  • Adhere to safety procedures operation of equipment and report unsafe practices
  • Regularly conduct plant inspections and carry out planned maintenance schedules
  • Conduct monthly safety inspection of equipment
  • Providing technical support to the mechanical and production departments
  • Fault inspection of machinery including PLC AC and DC drives
  • Willing to work on standby based on operational requirements
