Job Description
We are looking for a Temporary Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team. This is a hands-on role responsible for performing general maintenance repairs and upkeep of the facility property and associated equipment and systems. This position will also assist with the repair and preventive maintenance of vehicles mechanical equipment small engines and systems including electro-mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and various tools and machinery.
Specific Duties:
- Performs general maintenance and repair work including but not limited to; carpentry electrical HVAC/mechanical painting plumbing masonry mechanical equipment and machinery electro-mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Responds to critical situations on the property as directed.
- Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled
- Completes work order logs and documentation.
- Assists with inventory maintenance.
Qualifications :
Must have:
- Three (3) years experience in commercial facilities / property maintenance (minimum)
- High school diploma or general education degree (required)
- Experience in vehicle and small engine/equipment service & repair (preferred)
- Valid drivers license and clean DMV record (required)
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment machinery forklifts high lifts and other types of equipment.
Rate: $28.00 - $30.50 (DOE)
This is a union position.
This is a temporary position (estimated 3 months)
