Job Profile:
Managing Diverse Processes and Technologies: Overseeing twodecadeold plants with unique practices such as copper electrorefining (Glencore) SAP (MECS) and PMR (no OEM support) is complex especially with varying input raw material quality affecting product consistency.
Technological Upgrades and Digital Transformation: Implementing enhancements to improve reliability and longevity while integrating automation and data analytics remains challenging due to inconsistent data generation and different technological setups across the plants.
Environmental and Safety Compliance: Balancing stringent regulatory compliance with operational and strategic goals demands integrating the latest best practices while addressing waste generation and quality bleed issues.
Stakeholder and Resource Management: Managing stakeholder expectations is difficult as the team has limited control over operational resources. This is compounded by nonrecurring process issues and the need for continuous collaboration and skill development.
Modernization and Material Expertise: Regular assessment and upgrading of outdated equipment are critical as is selecting the right refractory materials for varying equipment needs. The differing input characteristics across plants pose additional challenges.
Cultural and Process Improvement: Overcoming traditional mindsets fostering teamwork and addressing data quality issues for reliable analysis are essential to drive innovation and collaboration effectively.
