W Magazine is seeking a Fashion Assistant Fellow to work from our NYC office five days per week helping with daily tasks ranging from office organization to preparation for upcoming photoshoots. This position will work closely with the Lead Fashion Assistant and Lead Accessories Assistant to help with sample trafficking. Candidates for this position should be a team player highly organized and have a keen attention to detail. Our Fashion Fellowship Program lasts for 3 months with an opportunity to extend to 6 months.
Responsibilities
Assist with fashion accessories and jewelry sample checkins and returns
Pack and unpack trunks of clothing and accessories for photo shoots
Arrange messengers and shipments for fashion and accessory pick ups and returns
Assist with keeping the fashion and accessories closets organized
Lifting carrying and moving heavy loads as required
Requirements
Open availability MondayFriday40 hours a week for an initial period of 3 months
Strong interest in the Fashion and Editorial industries
Eagerness to learn
Highly motivated to complete tasks
Work well in a team environment
Able to meettime& attendance expectations
Able to balance multiple tasks

$17 $17 an hour
All Fashion Closet Assistants are paid $17/hour
