The Role
Based at Haymes Head Office in Mitchell Park Ballarat and working closely with the Senior Reconciliation Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will be responsible for:
- Processing varied high volume financial transactions.
- Investigating issues and variances ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Ensuring escalation procedures are followed in a timely manner.
- Communicating effectively with various areas of the business.
- Application of adequate and appropriate internal controls.
- Working closely with our accounts receivable and retail stores teams to facilitate payment processing and error rectification.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and providing a high level of service.
- Banking and assisting with other adhoc tasks in finance.
About you
We are looking for a process and outcome driven candidate who prides themselves on a high level of attention to detail. You will have prior experience in a finance or accounts position with direct exposure to reconciliations and understand financial principles. This role requires a proactive individual who is adept at problem solving possesses strong analytical skills and has a thorough understanding of financial processes.
