Description

The Case Managers are responsiblefor communicating with key stakeholder including physicians patient Work Comp adjustors occupational nurses onsite and the individual involved of work injuries at the patients employer involving a Workers Comp claim. Also responsiblefor tracking reporting and documenting the injured employee care as it is related to follow up appointment return to work status and scheduling outpatient treatment to all stakeholder on a need to know basis.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate from an accredited college/university

EDUCATION PREFERRED

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:An understanding of Workers Compensation drug screening and OSHA regulations.

ROLE SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Workers Comp case management
  • Documenting in Floyds EMR
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with patients and stakeholders
  • Providing important information to Work Comp Adjustors HR managers Safety managers Physicians and Patients
  • Schedule follow up appointments and outpatient treatment
  • Following and tracking throughout the patient cycle of care
