Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Hydraulic Service Manager to lead our Queensland Service team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational performance customer satisfaction and service growth across the region. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality hydraulic service solutions and building a strong engaged team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Hydraulic Service team to meet performance quality and safety targets.

  • Promote a positive and safe working environment ensuring appropriate incident reporting and response measures are in place.

  • Drive service sales through proactive customer engagement developing maintenance agreements and identifying new opportunities.

  • Monitor and achieve revenue and margin targets while ensuring sustainable and profitable growth of the service function.

  • Oversee workforce capability and development ensuring relevant licences inductions and training records are current.

  • Manage quality outcomes including lead times calibration testing and continuous improvement actions.

  • Implement resource planning and strategic initiatives to support long-term growth and team development.

  • Support interdepartmental collaboration and maintain strong communication across business units.


Qualifications :

  • Trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering Mechanical or related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience managing a technical service or field service team preferably within the hydraulics or heavy industrial sector.

  • Strong understanding of service operations including sales planning job costing and resource management.

  • Sound knowledge of HSE responsibilities and quality management processes.

  • Proven ability to lead develop and engage high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient in business reporting performance metrics and planning tools.
