Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and managing investment portfolios to maximize returns and minimize risks. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills financial acumen and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced investment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analysis of investment portfolios to assess performance risk and compliance with investment mandates.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate portfolio performance and make recommendations for adjustments.
Monitor market trends economic indicators and investment strategies to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Prepare reports and presentations on portfolio performance for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with investment managers to implement strategies and optimize portfolio performance.
Assist in the development of investment strategies and asset allocation models based on market research and analysis.
Participate in investment committee meetings and provide insights on portfolio performance and market trends.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.
Support the Director of Investments in adhoc projects and initiatives related to portfolio management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field. Masters degree and/or CFA designation preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment analysis portfolio management or a related field.
Strong understanding of financial markets investment products and risk management techniques.
Proficiency in financial modeling statistical analysis and investment analysis software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to a nontechnical audience.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Strong attention to detail accuracy and ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in portfolio management.
