We are currently setting up Sales and Operation Planning at the Altstetten site to be able to plan production and upstream processes efficiently and at an early stage. In addition the positive working environment and our reliability are to be further promoted. You will play a key role in the implementation of the new planning processes and work closely with Production and all adjacent departments.
As a Production Planner you play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely production processes. You will be responsible for optimizing planning strategies coordinating crossfunctional teams and proactively addressing challenges to maintain a smooth production flow.
How youll make an impact
Production Order Planning: Schedule and manage production orders based on capacity material availability and customer deadlines to ensure timely delivery
Capacity & Resource Planning: Collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation balancing workloads and improving efficiency
CrossFunctional Coordination: Act as a key liaison between Sales Engineering Purchasing and Production to streamline workflows and resolve potential bottlenecks
Monitoring & ProblemSolving: Track production schedules identify risks early and implement corrective measures to prevent delays
Process Optimization: Continuously improve planning processes and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives
Data & System Management: Utilize SAP (PP MM SD; QM is a plus) and MS Office tools to maintain accurate planning data track key performance indicators and generate reports
Risk Management: Proactively manage unexpected delays material shortages or technical challenges to ensure production continuity.
Your background
Educational Background: Technical education with further training in logistics or production planning (e.g. Process/Operations Specialist or Technician HF) is a plus
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in production planning ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Analytical & Structured Mindset: Ability to assess complex situations analyze data and make sound decisions under pressure
Proactive & Independent Worker: Strong initiative and ability to work independently while being a team player
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to coordinate and collaborate with different departments
Technical Proficiency: Handson experience with SAP (PP MM SD; QM is a plus) SAP Appon DCP (G.I.B. is an advantage) and MS Office applications
Language Skills: Fluent in German and English
