Job Description

This position is for Extended School Year Summer 2025. The program will run July 8 2025August 8 2025. Students will be in session Monday through Thursday each week. Provide direct reading and writing instruction to identified students in small groups or individually focusing on emergent beginning and transitional readers. Assess student reading levels and recommend appropriate interventions. Monitor student progress and communicate updates to classroom teachers. Analyze and interpret student reading data to inform instruction. Support teachers by offering instructional strategies materials and guidance in reading and writing as needed. Attend team meetings to provide input on student reading progress and interventions. Maintain documentation of student assessments and progress reports. Perform other duties as assigned by ESY administration to support literacy instruction.
