To be successful as our new BSO Assistant Director of Nursing Care you will:
- Have a current registration as a Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Maintain current Heart Save Level of CPR
- Support training collaboration and development of the PERT Team
- Act as a Specialist Leader pertaining to all aspects of the Personal Expressions Resource Team
- Experience working with BSO concepts and protocols
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members
- Understand the physical mental and emotional demands of the Assistant Director of Nursing Care role
It would be an asset if our new Assistant Director of Nursing Care has:
- Knowledge of relevant policies procedures legislation and regulations applicable to the longterm care sector including the LongTerm Care Homes Act 2007 and Health & Safety
- Three 3 years of experience leading and directing department(s) in a healthcare setting
- Education and Experience in BSO practices
- Experience working in a LongTerm Care setting
