Job Description
As a Special Education Teacher at The Menta Group you will have the freedom and ability to virtually educate a small classroom of students. Our socialemotional learning environments offer engaged and inquirybased academics combined with a P.B.I.S. structure.
Virtual/Remote
Immediately Available
Hours 8 am to 3:30 pm (Local Phoenix Time) MonFri
Responsibilities
- Teach all subjects in a virtual classroom setting
- Provide differentiated learning
- Work collaboratively with staff including curriculum and clinical staff to yield positive results for the students
- Gain support oncampus from other teachers administrators curriculum staff clinical staff and various support staff that are Menta employeesHave the freedom and ability to personalize learning
- Provide a virtual socialemotional learning environment
- Have a virtual classroom size of around 10 students
Qualifications
- Current Issued ADE (Arizona Department of Education) Special Education Teacher Certification
- Must be flexible in the ability to teach multiple grade levels as student populations change
- Ability to virtually teach a classroom of students within all basic instructional areas
- Ability to virtually work with youth with emotional/behavioral/academic difficulties
- Ability to be flexible work in teams and creatively problem solve
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
